Mel Hewer

Position: Deputy Principal
I come from: Dunedin but have lived in a lot of places around New Zealand.
What I do for fun: Camping, tramping, boating, fishing, reading, spending time with family and friends.
If I had a super power it would be: The ability to function without sleep!

Selena Tonks

Position: Teacher/Principal - Waverley Room.
I come from: Born in Lumsden!  Family ties and history in Wellington. Blenheim is home.
What I do for fun: Swimming, walking, camping, travel, a glass of wine with friends. Love growing and cooking our own garden produce.
If I had a super power it would be: The ability to convert the energy from chocolate directly into muscle!

Louise Hedlund

Position: Teacher of Osprey Room
I come from: Auckland.
What I do for fun: read, cook for my family and friends, sing and dance in my lounge, tramping, swimming, going on adventures with my children.
If I had a super power it would be: to teleport myself to anywhere in the world in the blink of an eye.

Nicola Moran

Position: Teacher of Opawa Room
I come from: I was born in Tapanui (West Otago).
What I do for fun: I like to potter in the garden, go on bush walks, share yummy food and drink with family and friends.
If I had a super power it would be: I would love to be able to read people’s minds.  That way I can see where I can help children learn more easily as well as finding out who really broke Grandma’s crystal vase. 

Kate Chapman-Cohen

Position: Part time teacher in the Waverley and Opawa rooms.
I come from: Originally from Christchurch but have been in Marlborough for over twenty years.
What I do for fun: I love cooking, spending time with my family and friends, being outdoors in the garden, out on and in the sea or taking a walk/run on a local trail around Marlborough.
If I had a super power it would be: The ability to breath underwater when freediving so I can finally get that elusive crayfish.

Claire Cullen

Position: Teacher of Waverley room.
I come from: Yorkshire in the UK
What I do for fun: I love spending time with family and friends, traveling, running, bootcamps and drinking a cold glass of wine with a great book. 
If I had a super power it would be: To be able to time travel because I love history! I would love to experience life in times such as the Victorian era in England, the Colonial period in the US, the Roman times in Italy and many more!

Jolande Van de Weele

Position: Teacher Aide
I come from: A different country called Holland.
What I do for fun: Cycling, reading children's books.
If I had a super power it would be: Travelling through time portals so I can visit my family more often!

Position: Secretary/ Office Administrator
I come from: Born in Blenheim.
What I do for fun: Time with my family, gardening, Hot Rod Club - 1960 Plymouth Fury
If I had a super power it would be: Wonder Woman

Meetings are usually held on the 3rd Monday of each month in Waverley Room at 6.30pm. Meetings are open for parents to attend as observers.

Parent Support Group - PSG

Our parents support groups plans and organises fundraising to support our school. The group generally meets each term and new parents are always welcome. In recent years the PSG has funded swimming lessons, water safety programme, leader-ship conference, unicycles, Jump Jam, laptops, P.E. equipment and much more.
